Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic, life threatening disease, that strikes over 1000 new children each year. It is a debilitating, respiratory disease that will last a lifetime. There are currently over 30,000 people living with CF. Over 75% of these are diagnosed by age 2, with over 50% of the CF population over the age of 18. (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2016)
